This vanilla shake with chocolate chips (cacao nibs) is a classic flavor combination and makes a great meal replacer, or an in-between snack to hold you until your next meal. If you like mint, try adding a few fresh mint leaves or several drops of peppermint extract for an extra refreshing flavor.
- 1/2 cup coconut milk, unsweetened, full-fat
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup fresh homemade whey OR filtered water
- 1 cup crushed ice
- NuNaturals Pure Liquid™ Clear Stevia™, to taste
- 1 Tablespoon raw cacao nibs
Add the first 3 ingredients in a blender. Blend until mixed. Next add the crushed ice and blend until combined. Add the stevia a little at a time, blending in-between additions, until it’s as sweet as you would like it. Add in the raw cacao nibs and pulse a few times to break them up slightly. Serve in a tall glass.
